First it was the glorious pleated leopard print number, now this sassy snake print baby!
Who’d have thought the self confessed mini skirt lover (aka me) could be turned to a midi wearer! Animal print midi’s have become such a staple in my wardrobe I honestly don’t know what I wore before them (OK so I have a grand total of 2, and I bought one of them literally two days ago, but the frequency in which I wear them anyone would think that’s all I own)!
I just feel so bloody ‘extra’ in them, swishing about like I’m living the fashion dream in Paris or some other place where everyone dresses incredibly well. I don’t need to state the obvious but I will anyway; they’re super comfy and no effort at all goes in to putting together an outfit like this BUT it looks like you’ve made an effort and that is the kind of style I’m going for this A/W. I am particularly enjoying wearing them with a snuggly, oversized jumper tucked in – ‘meh’ on top, party on the bottom!
I absolutely loooooove the cut of this one, it’s more straight up and down which is perfect for anyone built with a smaller frame because theres less risk of looking like you’re drowning in your clothes (like when your parents buy you a blazer four sizes too big for you in year 8 so it will last the whole of high school), no one wants that! Plus this style is SO much better for wearing on a windy day, I can’t even count the number of times I’ve flashed my pants whilst wearing the pleated variety, that fabric has a mind of it’s own I swear.
And for all those gals out there who aren’t built like Britain’s next top model with legs up to your armpits, you can pull off a midi skirt too. Whoever said midi skirts are only for tall people was lying!
Now I did a bit of online shopping for you (thank me later) and I’ve put together six of my favourite animal print midis for you to have a little browse of, because browsing clothes online is my favourite pastime…

What do we think? Which is your fave? Can we all just appreciate the red leopard print number, I am here for thattttt! That’s definitely next on the list, followed closely by one of the zebra variety, but for now I’m all about snake print!
